Ok ...Here is the newest Canadian Forum ....Corey Woods started his own forum due to all the bullshit on Reptiles Canada and the shit Grant pulled with CRBE ......So it has been up for about a month now I think and its going really well ...there is a BOI ( Board of Inquiry ) and a HELL ...WooHoo ... for people who don't know what Hell is.... its a place to let your hair down and talk about BS or vent or have it out with people who piss you off ..... And guess what people .....one of my favorite assholes in all the world has just signed up and posted his way into Hell ..yippeeee..... What can I say about Big Dan ......We have been friends for years and he has been known to breed the best Leo's in Canada once upon a time but has changed his focus to Boas and Balls which he has done with ever growing excellence ... He is a genetic wizard and has been a wealth of knowledge for me in that aspect over the years ...His Boas and Pythons are only second to mine ( hehehehehe) and I will always encourage people to do business with him when ever possible ....... :o)

WOW ......Talk about DRAMA QUEEN ......So now the big drama is Rebecca being allowed to come to the CRBE ....BIG F - ING deal I say ....Another scumbag at the show wont bother me or anyone else who is opposed to her business ethics or lack there of one single bit ....

I find it funny that lil Kev is all RAH RAH for Rebecca at all after all the BS he use to talk about her ......Talk about changing your tune Kevin in a matter of just under one year .......Good to see she has such good people in her corner ......Glad your NOT in mine ..... And what is this bull with the BC show now ......Pissed that they have caught on to your crap and have figured out what a scumbag you have turned out to be as well ?????? Must be ...because I thought you were tight with the BC guys and I had always wanted to out you but I kinda thought you would do that on your own and low and behold you did .......glad to see you have not disappointed . Ok ......I was gonna keep my mouth shut about this but come on crying to the US because you got banned from the 2 biggest shows in Canada ????? Give me a HUGE break ........What the hell is wrong with this lady ???? Take it like a man and except it .....look back at why it happened and maybe take the advise of some people and try to make a good thing out of a bad ........But no .....she has to cry about how unfair it is .....and its not her fault ...she didn't do anything to deserve this ......its all those "women's "fault" for lieing about her and spreading rumors about her .......Please ........GROW THE HELL UP !!!!!!

I just dont know how she has gotten away with things for so long with out more people see her for what she really is .....it baffles me .....

Then she comes up with this "She was paid for her time by receiving the babies she did from the breeding's that were done." Man oh Man ....she knows full well that this was the male deal and had nothing to do with the females ....

This one sent me over the edge in laughter "We have not ever asked for compensation for our time, food etc, put into all of the males that she used for those breeding's, but I'm sure we could jimmy up an invoice for her if she would like." Please this is the stupidest thing I have ever read ......Like I am suppose to pay them for them looking after their own snakes .....LMAO!!!!!

And finally ......." If at any time Annette would have acted like the adult and business person she professes to be then I'm sure that things could have been settled in a timely and fair way.
Now that she has decided not to accept the offer she can forget about EVER getting anything from us.

This is another thing that made me laugh because .....I did remind Jim of how much I was out of pocket for keeping your snakes the very 1st day and all he said is " I see your point " at no time did the ass make any attempt to make things right with me so who is the child ?????? Oh......And.......I don't have to sue you .....you see Jodi you and your husband have done so much damage yourselves that any money I would win would just be icing on the cake ......You and Jim have made yourselves out to be the villains here by going on the BOI in the 1st place and then by keeping it going just makes you look all the more worse .......

Well I have not gotten an email back from Jim's lawyer and have given her ample time to respond to my last email to her so I am considering this matter ended with no compensation coming my way ...... Here is all the info I have for all of you to look at and comment on if you like .....

Dear Ms. Thompson:

Re: J & J Reptiles Incorporated

I have been retained by Jim Dyke of J & J Reptiles to assist in resolving the dispute between you.

He wishes to offer you 1039 adult mice, $200 cash for power and water and 20 bails of shavings in an attempt to put an end to the disagreement. I expect you know that it makes your business look unprofessional when you post your disparaging and perhaps defamatory “opinions” on your blog. You disclaimer of “opinion only” will not protect you from a charge of defamation.

I will not presume to suggest how you should run your business but I can assure you that making disparaging remarks about anyone, makes people want to stay away from you because you may do the same to them.

In any event, I hope you will accept Mr. Dyke’s offer, execute the Release and return the original to my office where I will hold it in trust until Mr. Dyke has provided you with the consideration listed above and you have removed all derogatory comments from your blog.

If you wish to discuss this matter, please do not hesitate to contact me.

I FURTHER AGREE not to make any claim or take any proceeding against any other person, business or corporation who might claim contribution, indemnity or other relief over against the Releasee.

IT IS UNDERSTOOD AND AGREED that the consideration under this release is deemed to be no admission whatsoever of liability on the part of the Releasee.

THE RELEASOR COVENANTS AND AGREES that Wrapped up in Reptiles will cease and desist from making any derogatory comments about the Releasee, to remove any existing derogatory comments and post on the blog that the Releasor has been compensated by the Releasee.

THE RELEASOR RECOGNIZES the importance of the agreement to cease and desist from derogatory remarks against the Releasee and the monetary damages that could be caused if the RELEASOR breaches this agreement and that the Releasor would be required to pay those to the Releasee. If legal recourse is required to prove a breach the Releasor will pay the full legal fees of the Releasee.

THE RELEASOR CONFIRMS that it has received independent legal advice or was given the opportunity to obtain independent legal advice and understand what is being signed.

In response to your letter dated March 23, 2009, regarding Mr. Jim Dyke of J&J Reptiles’ offer of settlement, I submit to you the following counter offer:
I feel my Invoice numbered 2006080 for $17,975.58 is a very reasonable and fair amount for boarding Mr. Dyke’s twenty-one snakes for 41-79 weeks, since most facilities charge $35.00 to $45.00 per week per animal.

However, in the spirit of cooperation, I am willing to accept $10,379.60 in cash, money order or certified check. This counter offer is based on $7.70 per week per animal instead of $12.70 per week per animal and does not include interest for the past five months or the GST.

If this offer is accepted by Mr. Jim Dyke, I expect a full and final release as you have written in your letter, signed by Mr. Dyke and his wife Jodi Dyke, for myself and my company Wrapped Up in Reptiles, before any and all references, in my Blog, to Mr. Dyke and J&J Reptiles is taken down.

If this offer is not accepted by Mr. Dyke then I would be amenable to mediation regarding the full amount of my original Invoice numbered 2006080 for $17,975.58, before I take any legal action. This offer is open until April 21, 2009.

I got the counter offer by fax and since it ridiculous and no one suggested this was negotiable I will advise my client to not accept it. He may however post his offer and your counteroffer on the internet unless you accept it by Monday.

Mediation is pretty expensive and I do not think it is worth the expense.

Mr. Dyke would like you to reconsider his initial offer which he believes represents the most you could possibly be out of pocket. Clearly he would like the dispute to end as there is no contract and nothing owing.

I will be away from Thursday at noon until the Tuesday after Easter.

Please try to think of this objectively and without emotion and provide me with your final word on this matter as soon as you can and in any event by April 14, 2009.

Since Mr. Dyke's offer is less then 1/3 of the food expense not to mention it does not even cover my heat and labor expense it is not a fair and reasonable offer to me .I still think mediation is something to look at , but if Mr. Dyke finds that it's to expensive I don't see why this has to go on any further . If Mr. Dyke is not willing to offer to meet me half way on my counter at the very least , then I think this matter is closed and Mr. Dyke will have to live with my Blog and anything else I see fit to put on it and I will have to live with being ripped off for 18 months of caring for his snakes .

Matt at GHI Reptiles is one of the best in the business .......He has an eye for picking out the most beautiful of animals for his breeding projects .....His Amazon Tree Boas are second to none and his "RED HOTS" are truly RED ......I have done several deals with Matt over the years and he has always picked the nicest animals for me and with a great price to match .... As a side note it has been "rumored" that Triple "R" Corns and J&J Reptiles has had dealings with Red Deer Reptiles with in the last year to year and a half ....J&J at a show last year in Alberta sold to one of Dan's employees even after it was pointed out to him that this person was buying for Red Deer Reptiles ...And Triple "R" Corns has been known to dump her left overs at Red Deer Reptiles after the Red Deer shows .......Now this is just rumors kids ....but if true .....It just goes to show that the almighty dollar are more important to some people instead of the welfare of their offspring .....Go figure ....

Well everything that can be said about Tim Bowles is in the links I have provided ......If you read them make sure you have all day to as they are very long ...... This guy is the top of the scumbag food chain ...he has been stalking my friend Matt Lerer for almost 5 yrs now .....Tim is totally insane and seems to be getting worse every time he types ....He is now saying that he has the only co-dom Red Amazon Tree Boa ...LOL......Give me a break ...I have seen pics of the snake before he got it ....can anyone say ORANGE .......This snake is NOT red .....I think he has totally photoshoped the new pics he has posted on his site .....What a LOSER .....And the "new Avalanche Ball" please ....new morph I don't think so and I am not alone in this thought ......Anything to make himself out to be something he isn't ...... Mice and Things / Red Deer Reptile Show

Walter , Bonnie and I have been friends for years and years .....They put on the biggest reptile show in western Canada ......The Red Deer show is a HUGE must see for anyone here is the link to his site Red Deer Reptile Show and Sale 2009.....Not only does he put on a great show but they feed us vendors as well on Sat. night ........The burgers are a lil raw at times when Walter cooks but when Bonnie is in charge .....watch out that's some good eaten .... Walter and Bonnie have been breeding for maybe 12-15 yrs I think ....they breed everything from mice to Boas .......their Beardie and Gecko collection are awesome and they produce some of the nicest babies around ....Walter has gotten out of most of his Colubrids and changed to Boids .......His Ball python collection is up and coming but once he comes out every one will be surprised with what they see .......All and all they are good people and good friends :o)

What can I say about Ruth and Jeff you guys don't already know .....They are great .......a HUGE asset to the hobby .......Ruth has taken her genetic understanding and helped us all so much with our breeding plans and therefor have given the US breeders a run for their money .......Her animals are 2nd to none ......The care they both give to their breeding stock and babies is top notch ......If I don't have something Ruth and Jeff are the next to go to for all your Corn needs.........When you buy from Hanney's Corns you are supporting Canadian captive bred all the way... This is one of the top pet stores in Alberta ......There is nothing but great things to say about Allen and Joleen .....these 2 are in it for all the right reasons and produce some of the nicest animals around ......Located in the small town of Rocky Mountain House keeps them form being one of the unknown so here I am to tell you if you ever get a chance to see them DO ..They will be at the Red Deer show in Alberta later this yr in Aug ...they have and will cont. to do allot for our community......here is a BOI post on them A&J Pets and Supplies :o)

Well there is not to much to say here as most reading this know that there is no love lost between Rebecca and myself .....I find her business tactics totally lacking in ethics .....She has been the in the business for about 4 yrs and in that time has shown no thought to what she is doing to our market with her imports and under cutting ...... She is only out for herself but hides behind the prospect of bringing new color morphs to the masses for cheap cheap cheap ......I call BS ..... She has under cutted all the Canadian breeders at every turn not only with Corns but with Geckos and now she is getting into Balls ......She has only monetary concerns for her animals ..I know she got into reptiles because she thought she could make good money with little effort and take away a so called monopoly she thought I had on the Corn business .....what a joke ..........I don't believe for a minute the she breeds any of her babies that she sells and if she does its only a fraction of what she offers ....... As far as I am concerned she is a total scam artist and liar .....

She has also just admitted to smuggling these imports in for the last 4 yrs on an open forum .... she now says she didn't know how to do it the right way and just only found out that she was doing it wrong .......again I call BS ....as I have stated on a few different forums she has known all along or at the very least since April 06 she was doing it wrong as posted on a forum she goes to all the time ........ as well as I told her at the Red Deer BBQ last yr what she needed to do and was told she knew how to import/export and she had all her paper work ....... What gets me the most is that there are some people who are totally behind this woman ..... Saying everyone makes mistakes .....Sure they do but for almost every month for 4 yrs making the same mistake over and over again ??????? WOW......These people are actually defending her actions and patting her on the back for getting away with it for so long ......Man oh man what is wrong with people now a days .....Now Rebecca is saying that everything is being looked after and she isn't in trouble .......give me a break.... if that is true how messed up is our system .....HUGE if you ask me ....... She is being allowed to sell her smuggled animals over these forums and is even going to shows with her smuggled animals .......Well I refuse to part of any show that has her attending as a vendor just on principle alone .......Its wrong plain and simple ......I hope the powers that be have not let her off the hook and are just biding their time before they hit her with a HUGE action ....... Oh and just a lil side note to you all .........J & J Reptiles is flogging her animals and I would be very cautious of buying any of Triple "R" Corns smuggled animals ........

I decided to go next with a good post .......Scott and Shannon are 2 of the best people I have had the pleasure of doing business with ......they truly care about their animals and the babies they sell ......their decals are second to none and my banner is only proof of the 100% effort the put into all of their work whether it be animals or decals ......They have been my friends for a very long time and I couldn't ask for better ...... J & J Reptiles

Ok .........Here we go .....I am starting out with J&J Reptiles just because the rumors are getting out of hand that Jim Dyke is spreading about me since our falling out in Oct / 08 .......Now I have been told several times to take this to the BOI but I prefer not to as I really never see anything get looked after there and all it is really is a bunch of people taking sides and mucking things up as best as they can .........

Now as a prelude.... Jim and I had a verbal agreement that if my friend Matt of GHI Reptiles would hand pick high end Ball python babies for myself and Jim and get them for a hell of a great deal at the time I would have the 1st breeding year with Jim's males split the babies 50-50 .....and I would raise all the females (see rumors on daily blog) and get 1st breeding with them and split 50-50 babies .....then decide from there if we wanted to cont. the breeding loan agreement ....

Once we were friends and during this time I thought we were good ones .......I am not to sure on the dates or which happened 1st anymore when this all started but it ended the Wed after Thanksgiving 08 ......

I think about early 08 Jim got mad at Scott of A & J Decals ( whom I have been friends with for like 15 yrs ) & (they Scott and Jim were still friends at this time and did business with each other ) because Scott started buying from another wholesaler out east and Jim wasn't getting his business anymore .......Jim chatted to me about it and asked me if Scott was going to start his own wholesaling thing ......I told Jim no but it was clearly a concern for Jim so I called Scott and told him to call Jim and clear things up .......sometime later during the Spring Edmonton show Jim got upset again at Scott for bringing in dry goods to sell at the show and figured that Scott was trying to compete against Jim even though Jim stated at the Edmonton fall show in 07 that he would no longer be selling dry good at the shows .....Jim figured that Scott was planning this( the competing) all along and that Scott was trying to pull a fast one on Jim even though it was at least 7 months between shows when Jim said he wasn't selling dry good and Scott decided to ......I talked to Scott and told him to talk to Jim and get things cleared up which he did ......then some time later Scott wanted to buy a pair of Mandarin Rats from Jim via Port Credits ......Scott talked to me about it and I talked him out of it ( which later I told Jim during our several convos about Scott ) .........so Scott called Jim and cancelled the order and Jim got really mad at that and had decided to have a vendetta against Scott for all the reasons above and a few more which I don't really know... accept Jim always mentioned how he didn't like the way Scott posted on the forums and blah blah blah .......later Jim was told by one of his wholesale people that Scott had a account with the same wholesale company and Jim blew his lid ....the threatened the wholesale company and told them that if they didn't revoke Scott's account he would no longer deal with them ....and so on (even though now if asked Jim he will say he never did such a thing) .........he even went as far as to talk to the head person when he was in Daytona and after allot of strong arm BS got Scott's account cancelled ....Which I did not and still to this day do not agree with and I told Jim that over and over every time he brought it up .......So things went from bad to worse between Scott and Jim while both talked to me about it ....I told them both the same thing ........get it worked out between yourselves ....your making yourselves look bad to other people ......I am tired of hearing all about it ........grow up among several other things ...........I tried to stay friends with both and stay neutral unless I totally disagreed with what one might be doing to the other .......it finally came down to one email Shannon (Scott's wife) sent to Jim after Jim had sent several nasty emails to them about Scott still owing Jim money for a ball python .......Jim sent this email to me the Friday before Thanksgiving ......Jody ( Jim's wife) called me and asked me if I had seen it and I said no as I was cleaning house for company for the weekend and I told her I would try to look at it later ......I finally got to it on Sat and called Jim at the store because I forgot they went away for the weekend ......So then I called again later Monday night as I thought they would be home and Jim was bowling so I left a message to call me ......I didn't get a call back until Wed morning from Jody asking me if I was going to be around because her and Jim were coming over (which they very rarely did ) I said why and was told it was nothing bad just a talk .........I said ok ..... So Jim and Jody showed up caring a cooler ........I knew right then and there it wasn't going to be just a talk and that he was over to take back his snakes I had on breeding loan and screw me out of 18 months of raising his snakes not to mention all the potential money from the babies once I bred them ......We talked about Scott and the BS which BTW ...I had NOTHING to do with .....So Jim's problem was that I didn't pick his side over Scott's and that I stayed neutral and Jody told me later that the last straw was that I didn't get back to Jim about Shannon's email .....So after about 1/2 hour of talking to Jim about Scott and defending myself he said he didn't trust me and he was taking his balls ....he didn't know for how long this was just something he had to do because he didn't trust me anymore .......So I said fine ( very upset ) and went down stairs to make him out a check for the money I owed him and went into the snake room ......he wanted to leave his boas but I said no way if you take the Balls you are taking everything and BTW here is the money I owe you .....He said more BS that didn't matter at the time but said he thought I gave him to much money so he would check that out and call me back .........he called me back and said I owed him about 130.00 more then I gave him but he wasn't worried about that ........No mention of reimbursing me for the money and time I spent looking after his snakes for almost 2 yrs ......I was very very upset and called Dan and Matt and talked things through with them then went to clean rodents ...I guess Jim called which I was cleaning and got an ear full from my mom who is 1/2 partner of my business ...I guess he didn't like what he heard ......I called him back and we had words and I explained how I felt screwed and burned and owed money and all he said was I guess I see your point ........I told a few of my friends what had happened and they were very upset with how I was treated and word got around about what Jim did to me .......So a couple months later it was brought up on an open forum and that's where I saw that Jim was implying that the reason he took his animals back is because I was not feeding his snakes and not looking after them .......I got very mad and decided to send him a bill for 18,000.00 ( 12.70 per snake per week I think .....I would have to find the invoice to be sure but it was around there ) for looking after his snakes just to prove my point that I had money into these animals as well and he screwed me .......So now the rumors are flying ( see rumors on Day to Day blog ) .......I have decided now just like then to try and stay away from all the BS and let it go but it is plain to me that Jim will not so that's why I have written it here ......sort of like therapy on my part ....... So that about sums it up about Jim .......I think he is a total liar and scumbag and will never ever do business with him again .........

Because of all the BS with Jim I am no longer friends with Jodi ..... I say this with a very heavy heart ......I miss my friend ......My only regret about this whole thing is that we more then likely will never be friends again ....... Jodi is the one person in the store that works her butt off and looks after the animals .....I firmly believe that its she that has all the Beardie knowledge and its she that should get all the pats on the back on what the business has produced over the yrs ...... I feel that Jodi is the one behind the success of the Beardie production and the health of the babies .........My hat is off to you Jodi for all your hard work ......
