  1. I would like to add that BOTH Alan and Julene are great people to deal with as well. They are not like your typical pet store, if they dont know the answer, they dont lie or make stuff up, they find out the CORRECT answer. Yes they are a pet store, but truly care for thier animals....Just my two cents.

  2. I couldn't agree more with you, Annette or Scott. AJ Pets seriously is the only pet store in the province I would consider buying a herp from. I've seen their collection and I've witnessed how well they take care of their animals. If I'm looking for a herp from a KNOWN source that I KNOW is going to be 100% healthy and backed by a strong guarantee, I'll buy my animal from AJ Pets.

Like Scott said, they actually have knowledge about the animals they sell and they are quite happy to find out the answer to a question that they may not know. That quality is highly lacking in most pet stores.

More importantly, Alan and Julene are not in the business of pressuring people into buying animals they do not want or need. They would prefer to provide people with knowledge about the animal they want and assist them in making an informed decision as to whether or not the animal is right for them. They are willing to lose a sale, to ensure the animal goes to a good home. In contrast, I've been in another pet store and watched the owner refuse to sell a person a snake unless the person agreed to take a pair. Even though the person stated they had no interest in ever breeding, they were forced to take a 1.1 pair, as the owner happened to have a large surplus of those snakes. It was a pretty sad sight to see...
